Our Policies

Everything you need to know about shipping, returns, exchanges, and cancellations.

Orders are shipped within 48 hours of payment — most orders ship within 24 hours.

To ensure your order arrives promptly, please verify that your shipping address is current and correct at checkout. We ship to the address provided at the time of ordering.

Laptop-Keys.com is not responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address due to buyer error.

Shipping charges are generally not refundable. Exceptions may be made at our discretion — for example, if an order never shipped, was lost in transit per carrier confirmation, or was mis-shipped on our end.

International customers: please refer to the USPS International Service Updates for any restrictions on delivery to your country.

Note: The US Postal Service has notified us that they can no longer guarantee 2–3 day delivery times for Priority services.

Undamaged items may be returned for an exchange or refund within 30 days of receipt.

Refund returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and the buyer may be responsible for all shipping and handling charges. Exchanges do not incur a restocking fee — you receive full credit toward replacement items.

Due to the nature of the products we offer, damage may occur during installation. If damage occurs and a part needs to be replaced, please contact customer service.

How to Return or Exchange an Item

    Start the process online. For a refund: begin a return — look up your order, select the items you're sending back, and submit the request. For an exchange: begin an exchange — look up your order, select the items you're sending back, then shop for replacements. Your credit is applied at checkout; any balance is either charged or credited accordingly.

    Once your request is submitted, you'll receive an Authorization slip (Return Authorization for refunds, Exchange Authorization for exchanges). The slip includes a unique RMA number and the mailing address — print it and include it with your return package.

    Package the items you're sending back along with the printed slip, and mail the package to the address shown on your slip. Exchanges should be mailed within 14 days of receiving your slip.

Do not send returns or exchanges without first obtaining an authorization slip — the mailing address is only provided on the slip.

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of being placed, provided the order has not yet shipped.

If the order has already shipped within the 12-hour window, it can no longer be cancelled.

All cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee — a non-refundable service fee charged to us by our payment processor.

You must contact customer service to request a cancellation.

Our team typically responds the same day.
